Biography
Vittoria Oberto works on biomedical signal analysis and machine learning, with particular interests in model interpretability and uncertainty quantification. She earned her master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino in 2025. Her thesis investigated explainable artificial intelligence and uncertainty estimation for automated sleep-stage classification from EEG, examining how these methods can help assess the reliability of predictions from deep neural networks.
